Talent show was a delight
By: Sheila Faccio

On Saturday I had the pleasure of attending the talent and variety show that was put on by the Western Coventry Elementary School. It was spectacular. The teachers, students and the parents should be commended on the wonderfull job they did getting this performance together. From the kindergarten to the sixth grade. the children put their heart and soul into every act.

The show began with the singing of the national anthem by Santana Roberts. She did an outstanding job, Better than some I have heard at professional sporting events. The show was titled "We're the Kids of America!" and we should be very proud of these "kids." All the rehearsals for this production were held after school hours. That alone shows the dedication of the teachers, parents and the students. The show ended with the teachers and some of the parents doing their own rendition of many commercials. That was hilarious.

To the "masters of ceremony," the production crew, the seamstress who made all the beautiful costumes, the choreographer, students, teachers and parents: Congratulations on a job well done.
